Sowing Guide - Indoors: Sow indoors thinly on the surface of a small tray of pre-watered compost.Place in a cold frame. Unheated greenhouse or on a cool windowsill. Keep moist and do not let the surface of the compost dry out. A temperature of 10-15oC is ideal. Higher temperatures may inhibit germination. Seedlings usually appear in 21-42 days. Pot on individually when large enough to handle tp 8cm pots. (Always hold seedlings by a leaf, never the stem.) Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions before planting out, spacing 20cm apart.
Soil Type: Well drained soil
Position: Partial shade
Hints & Tips: Retain one or two plants in their pots, once in bud bring into the house to flower.
