Trainee Manager – Full-Time

Wallace’s SuperValu is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person with a passion for customer service to join our Management Team. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will work five days per week on a roster basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The management of the day-to-day operations of the shop floor/store
  • Managing all staff in the absence of Senior Management
  • Managing the performance of specific departments
  • Training and developing your team within your department
  • Ensuring merchandising and presentation of the entire store are always of the highest standard
  • Ensuring customer service throughout the store is the highest priority
  • Ensuring promotions are implemented according to the agreed plan and timeline
The Candidate:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated and personable

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your retail skills and experience. Experience supervising a section or managing staff would be an advantage, but is not essential, as a full training programme is available to the successful candidate.

Wallace’s Homevalue Hardware & Building Providers is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our Trade Office sales team. This is a full-time position, with the successful candidate working five days per week. Knowledge of building materials is essential.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain customer relations
  • Maximise sales opportunities and develop new business
The Candidate:
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role and knowledge of building materials is essential
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Good computer skills

Are you an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn individual with a passion for customer service and sales? Wallace’s Homevalue Hardware is looking for a Junior Sales Representative – Building Materials to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the sales team in servicing construction and trade accounts by preparing quotations, processing orders and following up on enquiries
  • Assist with developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Help identify new sales opportunities through research and outreach
  • Provide administrative support including stock checks and price updates
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge in building materials and hardware
