Easy to grow for a versatile, sweet aniseed flavour. Leaves and seeds traditionally used with chicken and fish dishes.
Features: Brings an aromatic sweetness to a wide variety of dishes.
Sowing Guide - Indoors: Grow indoors sow 0.5cm (1/4") deep, thinly in small pots of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20oC (60-68oF) is ideal. Plants can be grown on a light windowsill.
Sowing Guide - Outdoors: Sow outdoors thinly where they are to crop, 1.5cm (1/2") deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Water well until plants are established. Thin seedlings to 20cm (8") apart.
