A superb stringless red flowered variety, this improved form of the best selling bean 'Scarlet Emperor' was bred to resist disease for reliable crops regardless of the conditions.
Sowing Guide - Indoors: Sow indoors for surest results, 2.5cm (1”) deep into individual pots of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20°C (60-68°F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out 25cm (10”) apart, when frosts are over. Allow 45cm (18”) between rows. Provide poles or netting for plants to climb.
