Features: Dense rounded plants with small, full flavoured leaves.
Sowing Guide - Outdoors: Sow outdoors thinly where they are to crop, 1.5cm (1/2") deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Thin the seedlings to 20cm (8") apart. Water well until plants are established. For a continuous supply, make sowings at two to three weekly intervals. Leaves can be harvested but this will decreased seed crop. Can also be sown and grown in pots on a light windowsill, but for leaf only, seeds will not ripen indoors.

Hints & Tips: Save a few seeds to grow for leaf, leaving others to mature and ripen. The crushed and dried seeds are often regarded as an essential ingredient in curries.
