Features: Great for stir-fries or use grated raw in salads.
Sowing Guide - Outdoors: Sow outdoors thinly where they are to crop, 1.5cm (½”) deep, directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Allow 30cm (1’) between rows. Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days. Keep moist, sowing throughout the summer will ensure a continuous supply into autumn. Thin plants to 15cm (6”) apart. Keep moist as dry conditions may cause roots to toughen. Cloche protection in autumn can extend the harvest season. Harvest alternate roots allowing others to fully mature up to 35cm (14”) long.
Soil Type: Fertile, well drained soil
Hints & Tips: This mild Mooli will become slightly hotter in heavy soils and at maturity, most of the heat being in the skin which can be peeled before use.
