Determinate variety producing small, egg-shaped fruits that grow in bunches and are ideal for drying.

Sowing Guide - Indoors: Sow indoors, a warm kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Sow 0.5cm (¼”) deep, thinly in a pot of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20°C (60-68°F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days. Transplant to individual pots when 10-15cm (4-6”) tall. Grow on in cooler, but not cold conditions. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out60cm (2’) apart, when frosts are over. Do not pinch out side shoots. Support is only necessary if trusses become too heavy. Water and feed regularly.
Soil Type: Warm, well drained soil
Hints & Tips: Harvest whole plants and hang to dry in a light, sunny airy position until the tomatoes are pliable but ‘leathery’ to touch. They can also be air dried in an oven. Also excellent eaten fresh.
