Sowing Guide - Indoors: Sow indoors, a warm kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Sow 0.5cm (1/4") deep, in trays of sandy compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 20-25oC (68-77oF) is ideal. Keep moist. Germination may be slow and eratic, from two weeks to two months. Transplant seedlings individually to 5cm (2") pots when large enough to handle or if preferred, to mixed bowls for more impact. Grow on in cooler, but not cold conditions. When mature, allow plants to dry out before watering. Do not water between October and March.

Hints & Tips: Do not allow their temperature to fall below 10oC (50oF) in winter. Feed regularly during summer months, when mature plants may flower.
