Graceful grass with reed-like stems and tall feathery plumes. Ideal for mixed or herbaceous borders or pond side planting.
Features: Graceful, long lasting feathery plumes.
Sowing Guide - Indoors: Sow indoors for surest results, 0.5cm (1/4") deep, in trays of compost. Water well and place in a, clear plastic bag to retain humidity. Place on a windowsill, a temperature of 15-20oC (60-68oF) is ideal. Seedlings usually appear in 28-42 days. If not place tray in the refridgerator for 2 weeks, then return to the warmth. Transplant seedlings individually to 8cm (3") pots when large enough to handle. Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts) before planting out 90cm (3') apart, when frosts are over.
